I saw the height
Scared of it.
“No one ever reached that peak.”
Said a man from a crowded
But small mountain.
“Come here road here
Is clear for you”
I saw the time
A few moment
Remaining to make an identity.
I twisted my shoe
And started,
They made stairs,
To the cliff.
So I reached too easily.
I met thousand
Proud faces who didn’t
Looked at me.
No one was talking to anyone.
Everyone face up and
Chest forward
Were trying to show their height
But the ankle has its limit.
Suddenly they looked
At the mountain,
Which I didn’t chose.
A man on the top of it
At more height than any of us
Screamed with joy…
Everyone amazed
Trying to stretch ankle
A bit more.
I grieved.
I was on the wrong cliff.
But then I did as
All of them.
Because now I have
Climb-ED…..
With love

This reminded me of the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. Do you know it?
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Lovely poem it is.
Actually I like the poems of Robert Frost too much.
He is really a legendary poet.
I felt it too after writing the poem, when one of my childhood friend reminded me of our School life, when we started reading Robert Frost and other poets. I loved this poem.
